Yesterday's Ubisoft showcase made it official. Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is real, it looks extraordinary, and it launches July 9, 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Preorders are live now across all platforms. Here's every edition, what it includes, and whether the Collector's Edition with the Edward Kenway statue is worth the $199.99.
Standard Edition — $59.99
The base game. Everything from yesterday's showcase: the ground-up remake in the Anvil Engine, ray tracing, Dolby Atmos, dynamic weather, seamless ship-to-shore transitions, reworked tailing missions, Observe Mode, expanded naval combat, new officers, new story content featuring Matt Ryan returning as Edward Kenway, and the new pet companion.
Preorder Bonus: The Blackbeard Crimson Pack, which includes a unique pistol with a distinct perk, a unique sword with its own perk, and an Edward costume. These are cosmetic/gameplay additions that won't affect the critical path but add starting flavour.

Includes everything in the Standard Edition plus:
- Master Assassin Character Pack: A unique sword, pistol, and trinket each with distinct perks, plus an exclusive costume for Edward

Ubisoft+ Premium subscribers get Resynced on day one at no additional cost. If you already have Ubisoft+ and play regularly, you're sorted. If you don't, the Standard Edition at $59.99 is the most straightforward purchase.
The Bigger Context
Resynced is priced at $59.99 rather than the increasingly common $69.99 or $79.99 premium ceiling. That's a deliberate positioning — this is a remake of a 2013 game, not a new IP, and Ubisoft has priced it to reflect that. It's also worth noting that Ubisoft had a difficult 2025 commercially, and Resynced launching as a confident quality product at an accessible price point is part of what the company needs going into the second half of 2026.
